About the Show
2025 is growing! This is a two-ring show Senior Doe and Junior Doe, dual-sanctioned (one leg total per ring) by the American Dairy Goat Association. It is embedded within the Deschutes County Fair.
Open to ALL (not restricted to Oregon Residents)!!!
Show Dates: August 1, 2025 & August 2, 2025

SHOW DATES:
*exhibitors should arrive on move-in day and remain at the fair until fair end*
*vet check completed at time of unloading/move-in
*out of state exhibitors are required to have a CVI*
*check-in occurs on move-in day with Elizabeth/Charleen at the barn entrance*
Move-in Day/Time: Tuesday 7/29 -- 7:00am-12:00pm
Move-out Day/Time:​ Sunday 8/3 -- 5:00pm

*Want your breed to be sanctioned next year? If a breed does not make numbers and "earn" it's sanction, we will not sanction the following year!
ENTRY FEES:
*Animals MUST be entered in RING 1 to be eligible to be shown in RING 2!
Ring 1: $9 per animal per class
Ring 2: $5 per animal per class
*Udder classes are free to enter, but must be indicated on the entry form and animals entered in their individual classes!
*GROUP CLASS COSTS TBD!!!
*Group classes may have entry limits/ownership requirements, see rules!

1-4 Goats: 2 Season Passes
5-9 Goats: 3 Season Passes
10-14 Goats: 4 Season Passes
15+ Goats: 5 Season Passes

The RV and Camping Park is immediately across the fence and walkable with paved
walkways and closeness to the goat barn. It has full amenities and hook-ups.

FOOD AND DRINK
There will be a potluck/dinner for exhibitors on TBD DATE/TIME at the fair. Location is next to the barn by the superintendent's camper/tented area.
Food and Drink are available for purchase at the fairgrounds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages as well, however, it is fairground rules that no food be eaten in the barn. Snacks may be allowable but meals are requested to be eaten in the superintendent's tented area next to the barn, at various table locations on the grounds, or in your own campsite/trailer (if applicable).
